Rental Car Boundary Limits

  They are crooks. They have their employees write good reviews while they screw their customers over. You have to show proof of insurance and they still won't let you out the door without buying their own insurance. They are sleepy. RUN!!!!!

  This company is very easy to work with and offers very reasonably priced cars for long term rental. It's very simple and convenient and they make everything as easy as possible. I highly recommend. They will work with you way more than any other company and they do so very professionally and kindly.

  This was a great help for me when I was in town for the summer and needed a car temporarily. The prices are super reasonable, the staff was responsive and friendly, and it was a great experience overall. The cars themselves aren't fancy but they drive fine and that's all I can ask for. When there was an issue with the tire on the car I rented, they assisted me in getting it fixed and it was a quickly rectified issue. They did switch the cars on me as compared to what I had originally booked and also swapped out one car after a month, but this minor inconvenience was worth the low prices and the experience booking with them overall.

  Emil and Diana are great! Emil has kept touch and gives great advice. They have the best deals in the state. Their deals are better than any service out there. Even better than those places that has cheap in their name. Their cars are pretty good and they ensure to keep steady communication with their customers. I'm glad that I ran across this company because they are a great business and actually care about their customers and the community. They truly have great prices and great cars. The offer regular vehicles and premium which are around 2018 Base models.

They get a great amount of business because of their fair deals. I highly recommend that you book a reservation if you are in need of a vehicle because you can also rent monthly. They will be sure to help you. Check them out!

  I am very grateful that I found Long Term Car rental of San Diego. Every interaction with the folks there was a pleasure. I got a car that suited my needs perfectly and was "like new" clean and serviced. Pick up and return was easy. The pricing was great, no hidden fees or nonsense. Will definitely use again. You're the long-time businessman, I'm just a little rule-breaker. I know I can't win a war of words with you. You're just too clever. You've been doing what you're doing for a long time now, I'm guessing the better part of 20 years. The truth of the matter is that you're a scam-artist, and a pretty good one at that. You certainly stole my money, and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Nothing you said here is true, but you already know that. You bamboozled me into signing that third month. You had promised that you had a more desirable car coming back in, and that I would have dibs on that one. Obviously I needed a car, and I trusted you were a man of your word, only to learn that you (or someone on your awesome, family-owned team) gave that car to someone else. You were condescendingly unapologetic while you were stealing my money. You're a liar. And a thief. And a punk. I imagine you'll get yours, but I can't be certain. You've been getting away with your nonsense for decades now. I just wanted to do my best for you here. You know you shouldn't be allowed to do what you're doing. Your customers deserve a fair warning as to what they're getting into. I'm just here to help. You keep doing you.

  They are horrible in communication with you and then threaten to report your car as stolen. Plus give you cars your didn't order. I was paying over $500 a month for a car with no cruise control and dents.

  I rented a Kia in good faith 2 yrs ago. Picked up car. Completely worn out. Took pictures drove anyway. Turned in car. Pictures didnt matter to them - Total nightmare.

Told me I owed $3000 damages ALL ALREADY ON WORN CAR. Reached out later to attempt settlement was treated horribly by a witch named Christina who stated she was owner when I tried to speak to someone else. She's probably not. Contact me to join class action suit. DO NOT RENT HERE, BE WARNED!

  I have searched all of their website and they literally do not have any long term (28 days or more) rentals at the discounted (monthy) price.

If it's one day less than 28 days then you pay double. This is almost a scam.

  I have been renting from Long Term for almost 6 years now and have ALWAYS received EXCELLENT customer service!!!
Except during COVID, I've used them at least 1-2x/year when I go to San Diego to visit my mom.

  Super friendly staff and more than accommodating! I really enjoy the service and hope other renters can follow suit when it comes to being respectful and trustworthy. Haven't had any issues at all with this service and I've been using their vehicles since February!

  These are the kinds of small businesses that I love to support! I was in San Diego for business. I needed a car for the week. I spoke with Diane at San Diego Car Rentals. She said our cars are about three to five years old and are in excellent condition. I really don't need a brand new rental car. I saved easily a few hundred dollars compared to the usual car rentals at the airport. My four year old car was in great running condition. It had 55K miles on it and ran beautifully. It was clean inside and out and the body was damage free. I recommend San Diego Car rentals if you want to save some bucks.

PS...remember to bring your lock box code (she will email you the code) to get your rental car keys when you arrive.

  HANDS-DOWN the best car rental service in San Diego. I've rented from here twice now and there has never been any issues. Emil is a fantastic person and he responds quickly. I have never experienced any hidden fees, which every other car rental place tries to screw me over with. Emil is flexible and tries to work with his customers so that he can provide them with whatever needs they have. What you see is what you get!

10/10 would recommend to anyone.
